- Description
- You will be joining what is regarded as one of the best known and most successful general contractors operating throughout the Middle East. The requirement is for an experienced Head of Materials Standardization / Coding to join the company’s head office team based in Riyadh.
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, your responsibilities will include:
· To ensure all company materials are individually coded with a unique Material Master number.
· To encourage and manage material standardization thought company.
· Manage and develop a team of Material Engineers / Catalogers
· Promote the use of Material Masters throughout the company, by educating the various businesses of the benefit.
Required skills and qualifications- Extensive experience across the Supply Chain, both in the Middle East and Internationally at senior / advisory level and with direct experience of Materials Management.
- Preferably experience of working as a Material Master Lead in a major construction or oil and gas company.
- Engineering background – preferably in a construction related discipline.
- Preferable; experience of working with the Oracle fusion cloud (ERP) (SAS version) platform, or similar.
- Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on change management.
