- As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be part of the UK's leading partitioning specialist and architectural glass specialist. In the fast track industry of fit-out, they pride themselves in offering quality service and innovative design that allows their clients to create flexible workspaces. They have extensive experience in the design; development and installation of silicone and dry jointed glass partitioning, demountable system partitions and advanced system drywall.
Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be involved with all commercial aspects on a number of projects particularly income and expenditure to maximise profit margins and monitor budgets.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
1 year’s minimum construction experience working as a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Qualified to Degree level, degree must be in construction or 2 working years’ experience within the construction industry.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Have experience within the interior fit out.
Have experience administering JCT 2005 & JCT 2011 contracts with and without Design Portion, D&B, and Fixed Price and any NEC form of contract
